Group web site. We have recently revamped the site and hope that you find it
interesting.
We are located in Blandford Forum, Dorset and are always on
the lookout for new members and helpers. If you would like to join one of the

| World Jamboree
2007 |
 The 21st World Jamboree, which will take place next year in Essex,
will celebrate 100 years of scouting. Four Explorer scouts from Blandford
have been selected to go to the Jamboree. For more information click

| Blandford Scout
Group |
Blandford Scout Troop was founded
in 1910 and has grown over the years to its current strength.
In the
early 1930's, Lord Portman gave the Scout Association and acre of his Deer
Park, and his brother, the Honourable Claude Portman gave the scouts their
large HQ building.
Over the years a toilet and shower block has been
added, and our Millennium project was a complete refurbishment, both inside and
out, with the addition of central heating, insulated ceilings, complete
rewiring and extended car parking facilities.
We are also
one of the few Scout Groups who can proudly state that Lord Baden Powell has
walked our boards. |

| Malvern
Challenge |
| Congratulations to Blandford Scouts, who have just defeated
over 300 teams to win the Malvern Challenge. For the full story

| AGM |
We have just
completed out AGM and are pleased to welcome the new members of the executive
Committee - thank you for giving us your time.
We laid on a few
activities for the scouts, including a BBQ, Saving Sam and a simulated cave
system:

Facilities |
The Scout Hut and grounds are
available for hire. Some of the facilities are:
- Centrally heated hut
- Full kitchen
- Showers
- Spacious grounds - suitable for camping
- Campfire area
- Ample Parking
