We currently have around 18 boys
and girls in the troop.
We are always on the lookout for help, if you
are an adult or a parent who is able to give some of your free time to help us,
we would be more than grateful. Even if it is just for a few hours once in a
while.

| District Rally
Weekend |
The District Rally is the annual
District scout camp. This year it was held on Blandford Camp. During the
weekend we took part in many activities , including climbing, archery,
orienteering, campfires, and a demonstration of birds of prey. The weather was
great and we all had a fantastic weekend.

Challenge |
| Congratulations to Blandford Scouts, who have just defeated
over 300 teams to win the Malvern Challenge. For the full story

| RAE Award |
The RAE Award is a district
camping competition, which this year was held at Shaftsbury.
The patrol
we entered had a terrific weekend and only missed winning the competition by a
single point!!
Congratulations to Shaftsbury A team, who won with a
score of 564 points.
The competition involves everything that is done
over the weekend, from how you arrive, what your food looks and tastes like and
how well you keep your site tidy. A few photos of the event are below:

| Trig Tower Tour |
The Trig Tower Tour is a District
hiking competition, involving navigation to various check points throughout the
day. This year it was held around the Shaftsbury area and despite the good
weather it was very muddy, as can be seen below:
